The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania has announced the launch of the 2024 edition of the FDVDR Summer School. Registration for the inaugural session of the FDVVDR Summer School's online courses commences today, 26 June.
The FDVDR Summer School represents the most comprehensive extracurricular education programme currently available in Romania. It will run throughout July and August. This educational initiative is dedicated to children between the ages of 7 and 18, offering them a unique opportunity to learn and develop.
The courses will be delivered online and will encompass a diverse range of subjects, including science and technology, as well as the arts. The courses will be led by highly qualified educators and experienced professionals, who will facilitate the stimulation of children's curiosity and creativity. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to develop their communication and teamwork skills by interacting online with other children of a similar age in a secure and supportive environment. The proposed activities are designed to stimulate creative and innovative thinking, thereby equipping children and young people with the necessary skills to navigate the challenges of the future.
From June 26 to July 5, parents or children can register for the first session of online courses:
- Course "Explorers of Critical and Creative Thinking" (10-14 years);
- Course "Japanese Language and Culture" (7-17 years);
- Curs „Public Speaking –Rock The Stage” (12-18 ani);
- Course "Practical and Fun Mathematics" (10-14 years).
The number of places available on each course is limited. On 6 July, all those registered will be required to undertake an online grid test. On 8 July, the courses will commence for those selected.
Those who wish to be informed of the courses and the schedule for the next sessions of the FDVDR Summer School, 2024 edition, may register until 1 August on a waiting list. This procedure ensures that those who have registered will be informed in a timely manner of any new courses that may be added to the programme.
