Innovation and creativity in the era of digital education - Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania launches "School of the Future"

Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania (FDVDR) is launching in early May a pilot educational project, "School of the Future", a national competition for innovation and creativity in the era of digital education. The competition is designed to encourage handwriting and the use of modern digital media in the teaching-learning process.

"The School of the Future" is addressed to all public and private primary and secondary schools in Romania. The competition aims to encourage pupils, teachers and parents to use modern tools and resources that combine traditional methods with today's digital requirements and skills. Studies have shown that handwriting brings important benefits such as attention, concentration, memory, which are extremely important in the harmonious development of children. In this context, "The School of the Future" aims to raise awareness of the benefits of using digital media in the teaching-learning process and to reward the creativity of children and modern educators.

The prize of the competition consists in equipping the winning school with state-of-the-art digital equipment (interactive tablets, projectors, interactive screens), digital educational resources and teaching support for the implementation of innovative pedagogical methods. The winning school's teachers will also benefit from training courses in the use of new technologies and digital teaching methods, and pupils will receive access to a range of digital educational resources to improve their knowledge and skills.

"The School of the Future" is a project that aims to contribute to the development of a new generation of students ready to face the challenges of the 21st century by combining traditional learning methods with modern technologies and resources. It aims to highlight creativity and innovation in education and inspire teachers and students to develop their digital skills.

The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania (FDVDR) aims to contribute to the development of Romanian society through projects and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting the fundamental values and principles of democracy, the rule of law and the market economy. The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, founded in 1990, which operates in the fields of education, health, culture and social development.
