Medical professionals attending should be aware that this congress is accredited by:

  • International Board of Lifestyle Medicine with 10 CME hours,
  • The Romanian College of Physicians credited this event with 18 EMC credits,
  • The Romanian College of Pharmacists credited this event with 30 EFC credits.

Doctors of the future will also have a team in Romania

The event is just one of the organisers' initiatives in the field of lifestyle medicine, in the context that according to an analysis of the 2021 country profile by the European Commission, almost half of all deaths in Romania in 2019 can be attributed to behavioural risk factors such as:

  • tobacco consumption,
  • unhealthy diet,
  • alcohol consumption
  • low level of physical activity.

In this context, the RSLM intends to implement the lifestyle medicine curriculum in Romanian universities in order to train well-trained health professionals able to provide patients with evidence-based approaches to the prevention, reversal and treatment of lifestyle-related conditions.
