The story of Mihai Bratosin, the young man from Focșani with a rare voice and a profound stage presence, is one of those stories that becomes a benchmark and inspiration for an entire generation. Just a few years after first stepping onto the stage, Mihai went on to represent Romania at the most prestigious international competitions.
His most impressive success came in 2024, in the United States, where he participated in the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) – recognized as the largest international arts and talent competition, held annually in California, considered by many to be the "World Olympics of Artists." Representing his country with remarkable artistic strength, Mihai Bratosin achieved exceptional results at WCOPA: Two gold medals in the Vocal World and Vocal R&B sections, a bronze medal, two plaques of excellence, and a scholarship to the Dramatic Arts Conservatory in New York, one of the most respected artistic training institutions in the world.
His performance caught the attention of international juries, critics, and representatives of major art schools, confirming not only the talent but also the interpretive maturity of the young Romanian. For his excellence on the world stage, Mihai Bratosin was selected for the 2025 edition of the '100 Youngsters for Romania's Development' campaign, run by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania. The campaign promotes young Romanians with national and international impact, models of performance and character, capable of inspiring real change in society.
Mihai began singing at an age when most children are discovering the world through play. Today, after more than 14 years of artistic training, study, and competitions, he is a student at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" National College in Focșani, and his career includes dozens of national and international trophies and awards. Far from being a punctual success, his evolution continues, and 2024 can be called, without exaggeration, a year of consecration. Prior to his participation in the United States, Mihai won: GRAND PRIX "Golden Palm 2024" – WAPA World UNESCO, vocal section, in Dubai, as well as First Prize and 100 points at the "FRANCOCHANSON" Regional Francophone Music Festival. In 2025, his name is already appearing more and more often on the posters of international competitions: I Laureate – STAR BRIDGE, International Contest of Art, Poland; Winner Pop Section – "Musicland" International Festival, Macedonia.
With a mature stage presence, genuine modesty, and a discipline rarely seen at his age, Mihai Bratosin is a young artist who does not seek the spotlight, but rather the truth behind each note. His voice has depth, warmth, and power, and his performance conveys unfiltered emotion, without artifice. He is persistent, dedicated, and curious, always seeking the next level. He does not see his path as a competition with others, but as a constant dialogue with his own aspirations. And in this dialogue, Mihai proves with each appearance that talent, when cultivated with hard work and integrity, can become destiny.
