The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is launching the 2026 edition of the “Form teacher's class” project, an initiative that, year after year, is establishing itself as a leading educational program at the national level, as part of the “Aware, Not Addicted” anti-drug campaign.
Given the extent of drug use among young people, the 2025 edition brought together dozens of educational institutions from across the country, and the "Form teacher's class" has become a practical, applicable, and easily integrated classroom tool that provides teachers with concrete working methods - from discussion scenarios and case studies to interactive exercises and dialogue facilitation techniques. Thus, “Form teacher's class” becomes an authentic space where students are challenged to think critically, ask questions, and truly understand the consequences of their choices.
The 2026 edition takes this concept a step further, reinforcing the project’s role in shaping a socially conscious generation. Through modern educational resources tailored to the realities young people are facing, and through the direct involvement of teachers, the project creates an environment where prevention is no longer just a message, but becomes a lived and understood experience.
The project encourages teachers’ creativity and student engagement, rewarding the most relevant and innovative approaches to conducting this class. These will subsequently be implemented in schools across the country, under the same shared message: “Aware, not addicted.”
The “Form teacher's class” educational project represents a necessary intervention at a critical moment, when young people need clear guidance, accurate information, and adults who will speak openly with them about risks and choices.
