Preschool Olympics - the only national campaign dedicated to early talent launched by Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania

Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania has launched the national campaign "Preschool Olympics", edition 2024, dedicated to children aged 3 to 6 years. This unique initiative in Romania aims to identify and encourage the extraordinary potential of the little ones, giving them the chance to be discovered and properly guided. Based on the idea that talent knows no age, the Preschool Olympics has been supporting and encouraging the holistic development of children for 12 years, promoting creativity, understanding and a passion for learning from an early age. "Preschool Olympics" is recognised in the field of education as the only national competition recognised by the authorities and part of the approved calendar of educational activities.

Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania brings to the forefront the importance of a holistic approach to education, where each child is encouraged to discover and explore their potential in the right direction. The Preschool Olympics offers children the chance to develop their cognitive, social and emotional skills in an interactive way. The Preschool Olympics provides educators and parents with an educational tool suitable for identifying high ability children, with a view to further developing educational practices appropriate to the needs and potential of these children.

This campaign is not only about competition, but also about collaboration and mutual encouragement between the little ones. Each activity in the Preschool Olympics is designed to stimulate creative thinking, problem solving and teamwork, preparing them for the challenges ahead.

All activities in the Preschool Olympics are age-specific and coordinated by professionals in the field of education and child development. The Preschool Olympics campaign runs from 29 March to 29 May, and registration is open until 3 May at fundatiadanvoiculescu.ro.

Since 2012, more than 25,000 participants from all over the country have taken part in the Preschool Olympics campaign, making it a successful project that has contributed significantly to the socio-emotional and cognitive development of preschoolers.
