The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania supports, as an educational partner, Baby Boom Show 2026 - the largest fair in Romania dedicated to children and future parents. The event, recognized as an essential reference point for families, takes place between April 2-5 at the Romexpo exhibition center in Bucharest, Pavilion B1.
The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania will organize on Saturday, April 4, a series of free workshops, specially designed for the curious, creative and eager ones to discover new things. The interactive workshops will be supported by small champions and young achievers - finalists of the national campaign "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development". Through games, interaction and smart challenges, children will have experiences that develop their thinking, creativity and self-confidence. The Foundation's approach underlines the belief that play remains the best teacher when guided by passion and excellence.
The "Digital Education" workshop will start at 11:00 and will be supported by MindHub. Here, modern technology becomes the ally of intelligent learning. At 12:00, the focus will turn to the magic of words with a creative writing workshop by Ruxandra Orga-Dumitriu, author of "O călătorie în Lumea Calităților și a Defectelor (A Journey into the World of Qualities and Flaws)". This segment will reveal to participants the extraordinary power of stories and will give them the tools to explore their own imagination. Starting at 13:00, analytical minds will be challenged to a chess workshop by Aaron Drăgoi, national champion and vice-champion of this complex discipline, a moment where every move on the chess board will become a practical lesson in anticipation and strategy.
Parents and children visiting the Baby Boom Show this first weekend in April are encouraged to visit the stand of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania to turn a simple weekend day into a learning experience. Participation in all of these activities is free of charge, giving families the opportunity to combine exploring Romexpo's offerings with a memorable educational experience. At the stand, representatives of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania will provide visitors with detailed information about the main educational programs run at national level. Kindergarten representatives are invited to discover the Preschool Olympiads, a unique program dedicated to the early identification and development of children's potential, and to sign up their preschoolers to this initiative. Also, those interested will be able to find out how to access the application process for the national campaign "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development", as well as details about the study "The Neurocognitive pattern of Romanian excellence", an innovative project that scientifically analyzes the profile of young people with exceptional performance.
Through this valuable partnership, the Foundation reconfirms its mission to support Romanian talent at any age, building solid bridges between the successful young people of today and the promising generations of tomorrow.
