INOVALIMENT 2022
The Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania organizes a new edition of the International Fair of Inventions and Innovations in the Food Sector "INOVALIMENT". The fair is addressed to all researchers and specialists in the food industry, both those in the academic environment and those working in research institutes and stations in Romania and other countries.
The event will take place from 21-25 November 2022.
As in previous editions, participation is FREE.
The event is organised by the Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania in partnership with the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering of the University of Dunarea de Jos, Galati, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology of USAMV Cluj and the Romanian Inventors Forum.
Applications can be submitted from 7 April to 17 November 2022, on www.inovaliment.ro, in the project registration section.

In the battle for this year's INOVALIMENT Grand Prize, researchers must come up with viable solutions to solve the problems of modern nutrition.
The theme of this year's edition challenges the INOVALIMENT researchers to propose "Innovative solutions to the global challenge of food system transformation".
CALENDAR OF EVENTS
- Phase 1: REGISTRATION from 7 April to 10 November 2022
- Stage 2: THEMATIC CONFERENCES and PRESENTATION SESSIONS OF ENROLLED PAPERS: 21 - 25 November 2022
Projects entered for the fair must fall within one of the following research themes:
- Biotechnologies
- Sustainable food
- Food Security
- Innovative ingredients
- Advanced technological applications
In order to register for the Inventions and Innovations Fair "INOVALIMENT", participants must submit:
- Participation form (ANNEX 1)

- Video, audio, graphic or written presentation material of the work entered
- Declaration of individual commitment (ANNEX 2)

Patented or patent pending works will be accepted at the fair, whether or not they have been presented at other exhibitions, with the exception of patents for which technology transfer has been achieved.
Entries will be evaluated by a panel of food industry specialists and business consultants to identify projects with technology transfer potential.
The criteria that will be used in the evaluation process of the submitted papers are:
- degree of novelty
- use of emerging technologies
- application of circular economy principles
- rapid applicability

COMPETITION RULES
During the fair, there will be thematic conferences, with high scientific value, held by experts in the medical and food fields from Romania and abroad.
