Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania celebrates 34 years - a lasting contribution to shaping the future of the country

Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania celebrates 34 years of existence in the service of performance, research and innovation in Romania. Throughout these decades, the Foundation has strengthened its commitment to excellence in education, making significant contributions to the training of many generations of young Romanians.

Established in 1990, Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, through its two departments - "Education and Culture" and "Development and Research", aims to provide high quality educational opportunities, support scientific research, and promote cultural and social values in Romanian society. Over time, it has developed and diversified its programs to meet the increasingly complex needs of the education system and local communities.

The 34th anniversary is an important moment not only for the Foundation, but also for the entire educational and social community in Romania. Tens of thousands of children and young people have found here a place where they could develop their potential, train their intelligence, discover their vocation, and fulfil their dreams. The aim of these activities is to support and promote talented young people, to improve their knowledge and skills, to encourage them to strive for self-improvement and to make the most of their individual talent and potential.

During its 34 years of activity, Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania has invested over 5 million euros in educational, cultural, and social projects, has awarded over 6,000 prizes, and over 100,000 children and young people have become beneficiaries of the projects launched. During this period, the Foundation launched the Super Smart Team - the first team of gifted children and young people in Romania, as well as a series of programs, courses, and projects unique in the country, such as: # FDVDR School, Preschool Olympiads, League of Exceptional Teachers, Aristotle, School of the Future or 10 Libraries Rated 10. Dan Voiculescu Foundation has introduced the National Thanksgiving Day on the Romanian cultural scene, promoting, every year, an outstanding figure of our country's culture.

Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is a member of the European Council for the High Ability, member of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children, member of UNESCO, member of the European Talent Support Network.
