Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania supports, as an educational partner, the 21st edition of the Folk Music Creation and Performance Festival "TOAMNA BALADELOR". The event will take place at the National Children's Palace in Bucharest, and the creation and interpretation contest will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 November.
The "TOAMNA BALADELOR" festival brings together the most talented students in Romania, who perform their artistic work in events held in clubs or art schools. Participants will perform in two categories: Performance and Creation, performing in solo, duet and group formats. Competitors will perform Romanian folk songs in the Interpretation section or their own compositions in Romanian in the Creation section, accompanied by guitar or another instrument specific to the genre.
Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania will award the winners of the Creation section. Thus, the best soloist will receive a guitar set and the best group will receive a set of guitar accessories. Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, as an Educational Partner, motivates the new generation of artists, reinforcing its essential role in promoting cultural and artistic education in Romania.
