The Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is a scientific partner of RO.aliment SHOW 2025 - the most important event dedicated to the food industry in Romania. The event, now in its 9th edition, will take place on October 13-15 at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca.
For three days, researchers, nutritionists, professors and food industry leaders are coming together to debate the trends that will shape the food of the future: from sustainable solutions and functional ingredients to innovative technologies that can extend life and quality of life.
A centerpiece of this year's edition is the 'Good Taste' panel, dedicated to the impact of ingredients and technological processes on the body's ageing. Experts will look at how ultra-processing of food affects the balance of the gut microbiome, what role chronic inflammation plays in premature ageing and which ingredients are considered "pro-aging" in the modern diet.
