Winners of the national competition "School of the Future", edition 2024

"The 'School of the Future' is a place where technology, innovation and creativity are brought together to form the basis of tomorrow's education. Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania announces the winners of the national competition "School of the Future" - the team of the "Dinu Lipatti" High School of Arts in Pitesti.

Andrada Vlaicu, Andreea Ciobotea, Isabel Slabu, Alexandru Șerbănescu, Maria Georgiana Oncescu, Ana-Maria Șerban, Otilia Cârstea are the young winners of the national competition "School of the Future". The project was chosen out of hundreds of others, standing out for its originality, creativity and use of state-of-the-art technologies.

The winners of the competition will receive 26 WACOM graphic tablets for use by students and teachers in the lab, 1 Newline state-of-the-art interactive whiteboard, as well as training for the coordinating teacher and school principal at WACOM headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Hundreds of teams of young people from all over the country took part in the competition, which ran from November 2023 to March 2024. Their designs mirrored how the students imagine a lesson in an educational institution of the future will look like. The talented youngsters managed to surprise the jury and delight us with their vision of what a lesson will look like in a school of the future.
