The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania announces the final stage of the 2025 edition of the ‘Exceptional Teachers League’ campaign, dedicated to teachers who inspire generations through creative and innovative teaching methods. After a rigorous selection process involving thousands of teachers, the foundation has announced the list of 20 finalists, and until 18 July, the public has the opportunity to discover their stories and vote for the three winners.
The voting platform can be accessed on the campaign page: vot.fundatiadanvoiculescu.ro. Each of the 20 finalists presents their story and the unique way in which they manage to inspire and motivate their students.
The selection criteria focused not only on academic results, but also on the social impact of their work. Innovative teaching methods, support for students in difficulty, involvement in extracurricular projects, leadership skills development and outstanding student results are just some of the key criteria used to select the finalists.
The three teachers who receive the most votes from the public will be rewarded with substantial prizes that will enable them to continue and develop their educational activities. The first prize is worth 30,000 lei, the second prize is worth 20,000 lei, and the third prize is worth 10,000 lei. All 20 finalists will also receive educational resources, digital equipment and access to professional training programmes to help them carry out their work even more effectively. These resources and gifts have been provided with the support of the national campaign partners Exceptional Teachers League: Poenari, Leonidas and Lamy.
Through this initiative, the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania aims to give public recognition to those teachers who, through their dedication and continuous involvement, are changing education in Romania and the lives of their students for the better. The public vote thus becomes a concrete expression of gratitude and appreciation for these remarkable people.
