The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, in partnership with 2SPACE, the only team in the country that has created from scratch a 100% Romanian rocket, launches for the first time within the educational program of the 2024 edition of the VDVDR Summer School, an exciting and interactive course about the world of aerospace engineering. This innovative program is dedicated to high school students and promises to inspire and educate the next generation of engineers and space scientists.
The Rocket Engineering online course is a unique opportunity for young people passionate about science and technology to discover and develop their knowledge and skills in aerospace engineering. Whether space vehicles, meteorological, research or competitive rockets, these are some of the most fascinating creations of modern engineering just as the exploration of outer space has piqued the interest of mankind since ancient times. Throughout the 4 lessons, students, guided by members of the 2Space team, will analyze practical cases, geometrically model components and mathematically simulate the flight conditions of rockets for research purposes. In addition to theoretical information, students will have the opportunity to participate in interactive discussions and Q&A sessions with experts in the field.
