At just 18 years of age, Ileana Chirilă, a talented harpist, has conquered the national and international stages. Recently, Ileana Chirilă joined the "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development" campaign, organised at national level by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania.
A graduate of the prestigious National Music College "George Enescu" in Bucharest, Ileana studied the harp from an early age under the careful guidance of Professor Miruna-Elena Vidican. At this prestigious institution, Ileana discovered the sound universe of the harp, collaborated with many musicians and developed her artistic skills. The young harpist stands out both as an instrumentalist and as a dedicated musician, with exceptional qualities such as seriousness, a constant desire for self-education and self-improvement, personality and strong will.
Passion for the harp, supported by hard work and continuous effort, has led to many achievements and awards:
- Premiul II la Concours National de la Harpe din Limoges, Franța;
- Third Prize at the International Harp Competition in Porto, Portugal;
- Second Prize at the "Lira de Ouro" Competition in Suceava, Romania.
Over the years, Ileana has won numerous distinctions at the National Music Olympiads and competitions such as "Iosif Sava", "Dan Cumpătă", "Ada Ulubeanu" and "Corneliu Cezar". These awards confirm his dedication and talent in the field of music.
Ileana Chirilă has delighted audiences on the most important stages in Bucharest, such as the Romanian Athenaeum, the George Enescu Museum, the Military Circle, the Suțu Palace, the Great Hall of the National Music College "George Enescu" and the National University of Music in Bucharest. Her performances, full of joy and pleasure, reflect a special technique and an expressive sound capable of creating deep emotions.
