The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is launching the "faceBOOK challenge" online contest on International Book Day. The contest is aimed at readers and reading enthusiasts, who are invited to reply in a comment to the post with a picture of their favourite book, to challenge a friend by tagging them, to post a picture of their favourite book, and at the end to share the post, thereby promoting International Book Day.
The competition runs from 23-30 April. The winner will receive a set of books from RAO Publishing, the identity of which will be revealed on 30 April.
Every year on 23 April, World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated at the initiative of UNESCO. Through this day, UNESCO aims to promote reading, publishing and the protection of intellectual property rights through copyright.
