International Education Day is celebrated every year on 5th of October and is a good opportunity to celebrate one of the most important human activities.
On this occasion, Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is launching a new edition of the "A Brilliant Mind " program, a program dedicated to gifted and talented children of Romania which comes, compared to previous editions, with an important upgrade from an educational point of view.
The programme gives children with specific abilities the opportunity to identify not only their IQ, but also to develop the skills they need to get on in life. In order to achieve success on all levels, gifted children need not only academic skills training, but also social skills development, all of which will enable them to perform to the level of their individual intellectual ability.
Enrolled children between the ages of 8 and 18 will receive an initial test that will indicate their cognitive intelligence score, level of emotional and social development and temperament.
After completing the assessment process, a team of specialists, trainers in education excellence, will establish a specialized education program according to the cognitive, emotional and biological level of each child, which will contain counseling and learning methods to help them use their intelligence to its true potential.
Super Smart Team, Super Romanian Team
The children who will participate in the "A Brilliant Mind" program and the other programs dedicated to gifted and talented children organized by FDVDR will be members of a team of certified Romanian values called Super Smart Team. This team, which is in constant training, will benefit from special attention and the children will automatically be included in all the educational programs dedicated to gifted children organized by FDVDR.
