The best young Romanian robotics enthusiasts have entered the first edition of the Robotics Competition "Looking for the New Shakey", organized by the Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania.
Among the participants are some of the most appreciated robotics teams from Romania and abroad, who have won numerous awards at the International Robotics Championships, prestigious universities in the country, as well as Romanian high school and university students with exceptional results in this field.
Robotics enthusiasts have two days left to enter their robot in the "Looking for the New Shakey" competition, with the last day for entries on Friday 30 June on www.fundatiadanvoiculescu.ro. The competition aims to discover the most intelligent robots and to encourage the development of new robots with practical applications.
The Scientific Senate will award the prize for the most intelligent robot, and the prize will be funding for the next robotics project that the winner of the competition will develop. The competition will also award a surprise prize for the most popular robot promoted via the FDVDR's Tik Tok channel.
