The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is launching the 2026 edition of the national "Preschool Olympiads" campaign, an initiative dedicated to discovering and encouraging early talent among children across the country.
„Olimpiadele Preșcolarilor” se adresează tuturor copiilor cu vârste cuprinse între 3 și 6 ani, înscriși în grădinițe de stat sau private din România, și are rolul de a evidenția abilitățile și competențele dezvoltate în primii ani de educație.
Preschool is an essential stage in children's intellectual and emotional development. Experts emphasize that stimulating thinking from the earliest years contributes significantly to future performance. At the same time, the educational environment and family support play a decisive role in realizing each child's potential.
Through the national campaign "Preschool Olympiads", the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania offers teachers and parents an effective tool to identify children with special aptitudes. The proposed activities are designed to develop logical thinking, attention, concentration and reasoning through exercises adapted to each age group.
The 2026 edition runs from March 16 to May 29 and includes the following stages:
• March 16 - May 8: registration period
• March 30 - May 15: testing
• May 18 - May 28: assessment of papers
• 19 iunie: anunțarea rezultatelor finale
Activitățile se desfășoară în cadrul grădinițelor participante, cu implicarea tuturor copiilor, pe baza fișelor de lucru transmise de fundație. Testarea are o durată de 30 de minute, iar exercițiile sunt concepute pentru a evalua și stimula atenția, gândirea logică și capacitatea de rezolvare a sarcinilor. Pentru asigurarea corectitudinii procesului, desfășurarea activităților este monitorizată online de un reprezentant al fundației.
The results are analyzed by a jury of early education specialists: teacher, psychologist and educator. At the end, all participants receive electronic certificates of participation and children who score the highest points are rewarded with diplomas of excellence. The coordinating teachers also receive certificates of their involvement.
The national campaign "Preschool Olympiads" is part of the calendar of municipal educational activities (CAEM) of Bucharest.
Instituțiile de învățământ preșcolar sunt invitate să se înscrie în această inițiativă prin completarea formularului disponibil pe site-ul Fundației Dan Voiculescu pentru Dezvoltarea României, cu respectarea etapelor prevăzute în Regulamentul Oficial. Participarea este gratuită.
