"Artificial Intelligence, an opportunity or a constraint for the development of children's creativity?" is the latest WEBDIDACTICA conference organised by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania (FDVDR). The event will take place on 30 August at 17.00 and is the 6th conference of this year. Those interested can fill in the registration form available on our website. Participation is free of charge.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been an important topic of debate for several years, especially as tools based on this new technology have diversified. People have questioned whether the fast-paced development of Artificial Intelligence will cause a major imbalance in society, in the sense that it could replace the human workforce in many areas or discourage young people from being creative.
Participants will be able to find answers to these and other questions at the WEBDIDACTICA conference on 30 August from the invited specialists. Experts will explain whether Artificial Intelligence will be a problem in children's lives or could rather contribute to a fundamental change in the way they learn and develop.
Alexandru Mironov discusses Artificial Intelligence
One of the speakers at the WEBDIDACTICA conference will be the well-known writer, broadcaster and science journalist Alexandru Mironov, who will share with the audience the latest news in the field of AI.
Together with other experts, teachers and parents, he will explore the impact of technology in everyday life and the opportunities and dangers of using Artificial Intelligence with children.
The debate will have three major strands:
- What is Artificial Intelligence and how is it used in the teaching-learning process?
- The tools and resources that AI offers that facilitate access to quality educational opportunities.
- How to create meaningful learning contexts for stimulating students' critical and creative thinking and the development of social and emotional skills that are impossible to achieve through technology alone.
Reward for participants
The conference will offer, as prizes, 50 free online invitations to Fischer International Conference 2023, which will take place from 1-2 September 2023, in which the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is an educational partner.
