    Quick thinking seems to be the superpower of the future! How can mental arithmetic help develop essential skills in children?<\/p>\n

    In recent times, one of the most highly valued skills in the development of children has been the capacity to think quickly and make effective decisions. However, how can parents and guardians prepare their young children for the intellectual challenges of the future, when everything appears to be just a click away? The solution may be more straightforward than is commonly thought: mental arithmetic \u2013 a method for improving cognitive skills that has been tested and proven to be effective.<\/p>\n

    In this context, mental arithmetic has become an increasingly popular subject. Although it is a traditional method, it also has modern benefits. Mental arithmetic helps children to develop their ability to concentrate, improve their memory and find solutions to problems in a very short time.<\/p>\n

    Research has demonstrated that the practice of mathematical aptitude through mental arithmetic significantly enhances cerebral activity, thereby facilitating the development of new neurons and contributing to the enhancement of cognitive function. According to researchers at Stanford University, students who engage in mental arithmetic demonstrate an accelerated ability to respond to logic questions and an augmented capacity to perform complex calculations without reliance on calculators.<\/p>\n

    These techniques stimulate both hemispheres of the brain and help create neural connections that help children develop logical and creative thinking, while improving concentration and attention to detail.<\/p>\n

If you wish to prepare your child for this future, the Mental Arithmetic Workshop organised by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is an ideal choice. Designed for children aged between 7 and 12, the course is conducted by SmartyKids specialists, who are recognised for their expertise in developing cognitive skills through innovative methods of learning mathematics.<\/p>\n
