- Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is the educational partner of the Debate Championship, within the "UniFEST" 2023 Festival, organized by the Romanian Students' Union.
- Romania's best students will debate, for the first time, topical issues: the gambling ban, voting for 16-year-olds and the impact of artificial intelligence on the labour market.
- The Foundation will reward the winning team of the Championship, supporting the development of their critical thinking and public speaking skills.
For one day, Bucharest becomes the national centre of student debate. On 10 November, as part of the "UniFEST" Festival, the Romanian Students' Union (USR) is organising the Debate Championship, with the support of Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania as an educational partner. The event will bring together students from all over the country to debate topical and socially relevant issues.
During the competition, eight teams of students will argue the pros and cons and debate issues concerning the future of the young generation: the challenge of regulating gambling, granting the right to vote at the age of 16 and the impact of artificial intelligence on the labour market.
Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania promotes the culture of critical thinking among young people and will award the winning team of the Debate Championship, committing to support the education of future generations of leaders in Romania.
