The Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania will honour excellence and innovation in robotics and technology at Robofest 2024. The most significant event dedicated to robotics in Europe will take place from 1-3 November on the campus of the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest. The event provides a distinctive opportunity for gifted students from around the globe to engage in a rigorous robotics engineering competition, showcasing their technical abilities and ingenuity.

Robofest is an annual event that brings together hundreds of teams from around the globe to engage in competitive activities within the domain of advanced robotics. Additionally, the festival will host ROBOCHALLENGE, Europe's most significant robotics competition. This year, over 1,100 participants from 25 countries have entered the competition, bringing approximately 1,000 robots to Bucharest. The festival, renowned for its interactive and educational ambience, provides the public with the opportunity to engage with the latest technological advancements and interact with experts from diverse technological domains.

The Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is committed to fostering excellence and innovation in technology education, with a particular emphasis on supporting young talent in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). At Robofest 2024, the Scientific Senate will bestow an Innovation Prize in the Freestyle Showcase, a competition that places considerable emphasis on the creativity and ingenuity of participants, encouraging them to challenge the conventional boundaries of robotics. Robofest 2024 will officially open its gates on Friday, November 1, at 19:00, and the public will be able to attend the event free of charge starting Saturday, November 2, at 10:00.
