LOOKING FOR TALENTS. Tribute to Ciprian Porumbescu at the National University of Music. Students invited by Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania to join the "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development" campaign

The National University of Music in Bucharest hosts an exceptional exposition that brings to the forefront the life and creation of the great Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu. Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania aims to offer students and teachers an insight into the world of this musical genius through the temporary exhibition "Ciprian Porumbescu - the life of a genius".

The exhibition explores the universe of the great composer through information reflecting significant moments in his life and creation. Moreover, visitors will have the opportunity to discover vintage photographs, unpublished documents, fragments from the composer's personal diary and musical compositions from the collection of his great-granddaughter, Mrs Cionca Stanca. This initiative aims to provide an authentic perspective on the life and work of Ciprian Porumbescu, bringing to the fore lesser known aspects of his personality and the historical context in which he lived.

On the occasion of the opening of this exposition, Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is launching at the National University of Music the campaign "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development", thus encouraging students to be inspired by Ciprian Porumbescu's example of excellence and to get involved in the campaign.

The campaign aims to identify and promote talented and gifted young people in various fields of activity, recognising their achievements and encouraging them to continue developing their potential. Through this campaign, the Foundation aims to contribute to supporting and encouraging excellence in all fields of activity, with a view to the sustainable and prosperous development of Romania.

The exhibition "Ciprian Porumbescu - life of a genius" is open to the public at the National University of Music in Bucharest. Admission is free for all those interested in stepping into the fascinating world of one of the greatest Romanian composers.
