Project objectives
The aim of the project "School, your friend for today and tomorrow" is to reduce and prevent early school leaving by implementing integrated actions at child, family and teacher level aimed at overcoming/removing obstacles encountered during the educational pathway.
The project's actions are aimed at children attending pre-school, primary/gymnasium education and their parents, addressing a variety of topics ranging from assistance in the recovery of learning gaps to psychological counselling and the promotion of non-violence.
Among the objectives of this project were:
- reducing the risk of dropping out of school for 180 primary and secondary school pupils
- increasing participation in pre-school education for 72 children from vulnerable groups
- educational and psychological counselling for participants
- increasing social inclusion for children from vulnerable groups
- counselling and empowerment of parents
- counselling and involvement of teachers
