Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania awarded the excellence of preschool Olympians

The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania organized the Little Olympians Gala - the biggest event in the country dedicated to talented preschoolers, participants and finalists of the national campaign "Preschool Olympics". The event took place on Thursday 23 May at the National Children's Palace in Bucharest, bringing together hundreds of children from all over the country aged between 3 and 6.

The special event, held in the run-up to Universal Children's Day, marked the end of the Preschool Olympics programme, which saw a record number of children participate this year - more than 20,000. The Young Olympians Gala celebrated the first academic achievements of the youngest learners in a festive and inspiring setting. Guests at the event were greeted by famous Disney characters, had the opportunity to participate in the children's book fair and capture the moments in photos.

The event was hosted by Mirela Retegan, who brought the famous Zurli mascots on stage in an extraordinary show. The artistic entertainment was performed in the original Zurli style, making the end of the first Olympiad in the lives of the preschool children an unforgettable memory.

The Little Olympians Gala brought together children aged 3 to 6 who participated in the 12th edition of the National Preschool Olympics Campaign, marking their participation in the "first Olympics" of their lives. During the gala, the young Olympians were rewarded with special prizes and big surprises in recognition of their outstanding achievements and efforts. The gifts for the preschoolers were donated by the event's partners: National Geographic Learning, Fischer International Publishing, RAO Publishing and the National Museum of Natural History "Grigore Antipa".
