Free education for the future of Romania: the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania announces a new Session of Courses, extended, for the first time, nationwide.

The Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania hereby announces the official commencement of a new series of complimentary educational programmes, specifically designed for children and young individuals between the ages of 7 and 19. This initiative represents a pioneering development in the Romanian educational sector, as it is the first of its kind to be offered on a nationwide scale. The FDVDR programme has been meticulously structured to ensure accessibility, offering both physical and online sessions, thereby facilitating unparalleled educational opportunities in multiple cities across the country. The FDVDR courses, which have been running for over 17 years, have already been attended by over 50,000 children and young people.The FDVDR Courses session, 2025 edition, will run from March to May, both online and physically.

Children and young people will have access to educational programs tailored to age groups and areas of interest, such as:

  • Financial Education for youth - Organized in partnership with the Romanian Banking Institute, this course combines national online sessions with face-to-face workshops in Bucharest, helping 12-19 year old students manage their personal budget and financial security.
  • Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT - Supported by the AI Academy, this innovative course for 15-19 year olds allows them to explore the potential of AI in interactive sessions, both online and in person.
  • Japanese Language and Culture - Run in collaboration with Sakura School, the course offers immersive cultural workshops such as Shodo (calligraphy) and Ikebana (flower arranging) for 10-17 year-olds.
  • Mental Arithmetic - Organized in partnership with SmartyKids Romania, this practical course helps 7-12 year olds to develop logical thinking in a fun way and is available in Bucharest, Iași, Timișoara, Rădăuți, Brașov and Arad.
  • Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Management - The course, dedicated to children aged 7-10, offers mindfulness and assertive communication techniques to develop their emotional balance.
  • Career Guidance - Aimed at 12-19 year olds, this course helps young people identify the right career direction and turn challenges into opportunities.

All courses are free of charge and are led by recognized specialists in their respective fields. Seating is limited to ensure a personalized educational experience.
