Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania launches a new edition of the programme "A brilliant mind" – a unique project for gifted and talented children in Romania. Compared to previous editions, this one comes with an important educational upgrade.
The programme gives children with specific abilities the opportunity to identify not only their IQ, but also to develop the skills they need to get on in life.
In order to achieve success on all levels, gifted children need to develop social skills in addition to academic skills. All of these form a whole that will enable them to perform in line with their individual intellectual ability.
Gifted and Talented Children
Enrolled children between the ages of 8 and 18 will receive an initial test that will indicate their cognitive intelligence score, level of emotional and social development and temperament.
Once the assessment process is completed, a team of specialists, trainers in education of excellence, will establish a specialized education program according to the cognitive, emotional and biological level of each child. It will contain counselling and learning methods to help them use their intelligence to its full potential.
Super Smart Team, Super Romanian Team
The children who will participate in the "A brilliant mind" programme will be members of a team of certified Romanian values called the Super Smart Team. To be part of it you can also participate in the other programs dedicated to gifted and talented children organized by FDVDR. This team, which is in constant training, will receive special attention. The children are automatically included in all the educational programmes for gifted children organised by FDVDR.

Schedule for "A brilliant mind"
- 5 – 27 octombrie ora 13:00– Perioada de înscriere în program
- 30 octombrie – 3 noiembrie – Test de evaluare a inteligenței multiple
- 6 – 10 noiembrie – Test de inteligență
- 13-24 noiembrie – Sesiuni de concluzii și recomandări pentru triunghiul copil-părinte-educator
- 27 noiembrie – 22 decembrie – – Sesiuni individuale de antrenament și dezvoltare personală
