One of the Romanian speakers present on the first day of the event was the psychologist and psychotherapist Gabriela Maalouf, expert of the FDVDR Club of Excellence, who explained to the participants how important is the moment when the child comes into contact with technology and how important it is for parents to weigh well the benefits and dangers in order to establish clear and beneficial rules for their children.
"We access the internet and have no idea what to think about artificial intelligence. Some say it's dangerous for children others say it's beneficial. The fact is that each perspective is a personal one and reality is hard to capture in these cases. This is why it is important to attend such conferences because here we see all the perspectives and we can as parents and teachers learn to become more responsible in educating our children and students," said Gabriela Maalouf.
