Romania's national robotics team, AutoVortex, a member of the "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development" campaign initiated by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, has achieved a commendable performance at the International Robotics Championship in Turkey, thereby securing its qualification for the prestigious VEX Robotics World Championship, scheduled for May 2025 in Dallas, USA.
The competition in Turkey saw the participation of elite teams from various countries, engendering an environment characterised by intense and challenging competition. AutoVortex stood out for its innovative approaches in the domains of robot design and programming, thereby evidencing meticulous preparation and exemplary teamwork capabilities.
The young engineers meticulously prepared for the competition, encompassing the construction of the robot and the design of competition scenarios. The experience they accrued during the preparatory phase enabled them to swiftly adapt to the complex robotics missions they were required to accomplish in Turkey.
