The team was established in 2016 under the name Impulsive and has demonstrated remarkable determination from its inception. In its inaugural year, the team achieved a notable triumph by winning the national robotics competition and securing a place at the FTC World Championships in St. Louis, USA. This was merely the first of numerous noteworthy accomplishments to follow.
The team has undergone numerous changes in composition and name over the years, yet has consistently consolidated its reputation through the attainment of numerous awards and qualifications at the national level. Each change in identity has reflected the team's evolutionary process and adaptability to new challenges.
Since 2021, the team has undergone a significant transformation, evolving its composition and adopting a new designation: Volta Circuits. This shift reflects the team's dedication to innovation and technological advancement. In the previous year, Volta Circuits became the sole Suceava-based team to advance to the national phase of the FTC competition, once again showcasing its exceptional performance and resilience.
Volta Circuits' activities extend beyond the FIRST TECH CHALLENGE, encompassing participation in a range of national and international competitions. These include CanSat and Qube2Space. The team's engagement in international events is indicative of its global aspirations. In the CANSAT competition, Volta Circuits has consistently secured podium positions, claiming second and third prizes on multiple occasions.
With an active core of seven dedicated team members - Bertea Cezara, Tonegari Ștefan, Spoială Paul, Nicola Chirilă, Handragel Maria, Beraru David and Volintiru Fabian - the team is wisely coordinated by two physics professors and a former team member, Ungureanu Paul. Each of these young people is ready to face any challenge and make their contribution to Romania's technological development.

The "100 Youngsters for Romania's Development" campaign was initiated with the intention of fostering national unity and identity. Its objective is to highlight the accomplishments of Romania's most distinguished children and young people, who have achieved renown on a national and international scale through their passion, dedication, and talent.
The 100 young people who have brought great credit to Romania and who have distinguished themselves through their exemplary performances will be included in the inaugural catalogue of Romanian excellence, which will be launched by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania at the end of this year.
