Since 2021, Claudia Gheorghiță has served as the director of Amărăștii de Jos High School in Dolj County. Additionally, the history teacher oversees the educational activities of Ocolna School, situated 9 kilometers away in a Rromani community. Pupils at the Ocolna school contend with daily challenges, including a lack of resources, parents residing abroad, and poor living conditions. The "Second Chance" project, which is coordinated by Claudia Gheorghiță, has also enabled 51 individuals to complete secondary education, thereby demonstrating its commitment to inclusive education.
In addition to her efforts to enhance the school's infrastructure, the teacher has secured financial resources to renovate the kindergarten and obtained donations of books for the students, promoting reading and personal growth.
