First Webdidactica conference of 2024: Integrating technology into lessons in the School of the Future

Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania will organize on Thursday, February 8, at 18:00, the first WEBDIDACTICA Conference of this year: Integrating Technology into Lessons in the School of the Future. The event will provide parents, teachers, researchers, educational technology developers and other education professionals with up-to-date information on the benefits of using technology in the teaching-learning process. The conference will take place online and is part of the "School of the Future" campaign launched by Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania. As a result, one classroom in Romanian schools and high schools will be equipped with the latest technology.

The WEBDIDACTICA conference brings together speakers who will present modern teaching and learning methods in the digital age, inspirational insights and practical information about integrating technology in education.

Ionuț Budișteanu, former Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania scholarship holder at the age of 15, now an internationally recognized Romanian computer scientist and inventor. He was nominated by the American magazine "Forbes" as one of the top 30 most important young people in Europe and was declared by the American publication "Time" as one of the most influential young people in the world. At the conference on Thursday 8 February, Ionuț Budișteanu will present his perspective on how technology can help transform learning and teaching. Ionuț is a young Romanian school graduate, but has achieved his level of performance through individual study.

"Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" will be the topic of Alin Chiriac, Founder of ADFABER, who will discuss concrete examples of the use of technology in the educational process and will present their benefits for students and teachers.

The producer of TV 24IT, Laurențiu Matache, will expose the challenges and threats of ChatGPT in schools, answering the question "How can it be used to the advantage of students".

Education technology expert Danut Eremenco will present current trends in technology and how they can be creatively integrated into the teaching-learning process.

Psychologist and expert in education excellence, Gabriela Maalouf, will focus on the psychological and emotional aspects of using technology in education and highlight the essential role of parents in this process. The expert will share techniques to motivate and engage students in the digital age.

The WEBDIDACTICA conference series, a project of Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania, is an interactive platform that brings together experts, researchers and technology enthusiasts, giving participants the opportunity to debate, learn and inspire.
