Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania will organize on Tuesday, 12 December 2023, at 17:00, the WEBDIDACTICA Conference "Education 2.0: Challenges and Opportunities for the School of the Future".
The event is dedicated to parents, educators, researchers, educational technology developers and other professionals in the field and will bring to the forefront discussions and analysis on how technology and social changes influence the development of the educational process.
The conference will take place online and is part of the national competition project "School of the Future". It provides a unique platform to share experiences, ideas and innovative solutions. Together, we will explore how to make the transition to Education 2.0, adapting to the challenges that technology brings to educational development.
Leading speakers from the field of education excellence and technology
Marian Stat, education expert, President of the Millennium Three Leaders Club and Professor of Applied Mathematics in Public Policy "MC-MPA Harvard Kennedy School Summer Program" (2000-2019), will present on "How we learn to choose, in school. Curriculum by Student Choice from School Offerings - Lessons from the Heart". Gabriela Maalouf will also participate in the event on Tuesday 12 December as a psychologist and education expert, NLP trainer for children and parents. Her topic is "Digital behaviour - competence or addiction?". Dănuț Eremenco - expert in technology for education, will talk about the evolution of digitalisation in Romanian education, presenting the topic "The human factor in digital transformation - the relationship between the teaching-learning experience and the adoption of digital technology". Virtual Reality will be discussed by Alex Dohotaru - Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality creator, Tech Partner, Creative VR, presenting the topic "The educational revolution - the synthesis between AI and immersive environments".
